You guys I am soooo excited for this! I swear the builders have the best lobbyist. How they are allowed to get away with things NO ONE else can is beyond me, BUT I digress.
You know the drill. I spend time educating and prequalifing the Buyer. Buyer goes shopping and can’t find a resale home that they like or they can’t get an accepted offer due to multiple offers. Out of frustration, Buyer goes to new home builder. New home builder strong-arms buyer into using builder’s lender by offering to pay for (inflated) closing costs or (inflated) upgrades or both (by charging them a higher interest rate), making it appear that they are getting a smoking hot deal.
